Enigma uses top of the line AES-256-CBC encryption

Enigma uses certified HSM (hardware security module) and HCM (a hardware cryptographic module) to protect the encrypt and decrypt processes.
Enigma’s job is to make sure that if your encrypted files or folders were intercepted in transit to the location you’re sending the data to, that the ONLY way to decrypt the file would be to a) have an Enigma and b) to have the case sensitive and identical password.
So it’s very safe to say that without the Enigma physical key this will never happen.

The short answer is NO. There are way too many ways to break into an operating system, or to plant a ‘back door’ inside any application or OS.
Enigma was purposely designed to be used without the OS on your PC; simply turn off the wifi and then plug in Enigma along with some form of USB data storage tool…thimb drive or backup system or portable solid-state drives (SSDs), external hard disk drives (HDDs), such as a NAS storage tool.

Setting up Enigma is simple! Grab a USB storage tool and plug the ‘connected pair’ into a USB port.
Open WIN Explorer, then follow the instructions and select YES for the End User License Agreement.
Then create your own password to the Enigma tool. It can be from 4 to 32 characters and you can use any letter, number, or symbol.
